Dani Johnson worked at The Exoro Group from 2003 to 2009 and now provides consulting on projects. Known for her ability to organize and execute, Dani has worked on variety of complex issues including: Initiative 1, a state-wide ballot initiative to protect open space; Havens for Learning, a state-wide ballot initiative to keep concealed weapons out of public schools and universities; and efforts with numerous community leader and citizen coalitions advocating change in the areas of healthcare reform, medical arbitration, transportation/mass transit funding, and fair competition practices for financial institutions. Recently, she was the project manager for a voter education effort that resulted in the successful passage of Prop. 1, a bond to fund new public safety facilities in Salt Lake City.

Dani has extensive experience in project management, grassroots organizing and public advocacy, congressional and local campaigns, legislative support campaigns, database management, publication and printed materials development and management, state and federal financial reporting, event planning, and fundraising.

Before joining The Exoro Group, Dani worked with the Utah Bankers Association as a grassroots organizer, the Dunn for Congress campaigns (2002 and 2000), and for the Safe to Learn, Safe to Worship Coalition. She worked in the Washington, D.C., office of U.S. Senator Orrin G. Hatch in 2000 and 1998. Dani attended Utah State University and has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
