Hugh M. Matheson advises major corporations, industry groups and policy coalitions in strategies for paid and earned media, legislative support campaigns, and other targeted persuasion efforts. He specializes in leading and advising campaign teams integrating opinion research, strategy formulation, coalition building, message creation and cost-effective message delivery. He has extensive experience as a spokesperson, including press briefings, media interviews, live talk shows and broadcast debates on controversial topics.

Hugh has managed three statewide initiative campaigns and served as adviser and campaign manager to political candidates for state and federal offices. A graduate with highest academic honors from the University of Utah College of Law, he has associated with regional, national and international law firms, including work in over 30 countries in Africa and central Asia. He has led teams creating and marketing investment offerings, government-relations efforts, and advertising and public relations campaigns. He writes and produces advertisements for television, radio, direct mail and print as well as white papers, business plans, electronic newsletters and web content.
