Robert D. Linnell, former mayor of Bountiful, Utah, and chief of staff for Utah Governor Mike Leavitt, has been an esteemed leader in the community and in business for more than 40 years.

Bob was the owner and CEO of Bailey's moving and storage from 1962 to 1984, where he was affiliated with Allied Van Lines as treasurer, a member of their Executive Committee and Board of Directors for 10 years.

A member of the Bountiful City Council from 1980 to 1984, Bob was later elected to the office of Bountiful City mayor, where he served from 1990 to 1994. After his term as mayor Bob went to work as Deputy of Intergovernmental Relations for Governor Leavitt, enabling him to develop great relationships with local government leaders across the state. He later served as the governor's chief of staff. Bob has worked overseas in managing international business and humanitarian projects. Bob has been active in the community, serving as the Chairman of the Governor's Gala and working with the Bountiful Area Chamber of Commerce, the Bountiful Community Theater Committee and the Bountiful Rotary Club.
