Kimball Thomson comes to The Exoro Group with more than 15 years' experience in communications, marketing and business development strategy for clients in business, government and education. Kimball has developed business, strategy and marketing plans and led branding, messaging, media relations, and Website creation and development efforts for organizations ranging from early stage ventures to large multi-national organizations. He has also been a business development and corporate communications executive for a high technology start-up.

In 2000, Kimball co-founded the Utah-based technology industry magazine Digital iQ. As former editor-in-chief and publisher, Kimball led the development of the publication's vision and identity, and directed the efforts of numerous writers, designers, artists, photographers and sales professionals. He has written about hundreds of technology companies and executives, and continues to provide analysis of leading and emerging trends and issues in the IT, life sciences, medical devices and nutraceutical industries. Kimball has served as senior editor for Utah Business magazine, and is currently senior editor for Digital iQ and contributing editor for Utah Business. In addition to his journalistic experience, he has written speeches for prominent business and government leaders, and is a frequent invited speaker and presenter.

Kimball is active in industry and community affairs, and has served on numerous boards and committees.
